Delete Your NearTeach Account
1. Send us an email
Email us from the same address you used to sign up on NearTeach so we can verify it’s really you.
Send your request to: nearyou.teach@gmail.com
Use this subject line and template:
Subject: NearTeach account deletion request
Hello NearTeach team,
Please delete my NearTeach account and all associated personal data.
Account email: [your NearTeach login email]
Any additional details: [optional]
Thank you.
2. What happens next
Once we receive your email, we will:
· Verify that you own the account (we may reply to confirm a few details).
· Start the deletion process and remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required by Indian law to keep certain records (for example, payment and tax records).
3. What will be deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we will permanently remove:
· Your NearTeach account and login details.
· Your profile information (name, photo, biography, subjects, location).
· Your in-app messages and reviews, from our active systems.
Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be kept for analytics.
4. Important
Account deletion is permanent. Once it’s done:
· You will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
· You will lose access to any matches, history, or data linked to that account.
· If you wish to use NearTeach again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
